Lifeline and Link-up Assistance Programs
The Tennessee Regulatory Authority (TRA) designated Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative Corporation as the "Elligible Telecommunications Carrier" within its service area for universal service purposes. The goal of universal service is to provide all Tennessee citizens access to essential telecommunications services.
Lifeline and Link-up assistance are programs for low income households and qualified residential recipients, if you participate in any of these programs:
You may qualify for Lifeline Service if you meet low income eligibility requirements. Lifeline Service includes a monthly discount for basic phone charges. Link-Up Service provides for a reduction in installation and service connection charges and is applicable toward the installation of residential exchange service.
