Enjoy trail riding in the
biggest equestrian park in South
East U.S.A., hiking, wild flowers and nature, photography, fishing,
hunting, ATV riding, boating and swimming on the rugged Cumberland
Plateau. You'll not find the crowds and congestion of the Smokies.
We deal with our EMails
once a day, so if you need an urgent
reply, please call us.

Set
in rolling, wooded grounds, with wild flower trails and extensive decks
and areas for your relaxation, the Lodge will offer you a warm,
friendly welcome. Meet together in the comfortable sitting room with
its well-stocked library, in the evenings - the fire place makes it so
warm and cozy.
Each of the 10, impeccably clean, bedrooms has a private bathroom. You
don't go through our home to get to your room, you have your own front
door so you can come and go as you please. Every bedroom is
different - with natural craft pieces, warm wood paneling and loads of
warm fabrics. Have a
peek
at them.
Start the day with the full cooked country
breakfast
and animated discussions. We can help you plan your day.
To save you a round trip into town, we provide
home
made fare on the
days the local restaurant is closed. Reservations are essential
7 days before the dinner.
See the Plateau differently - the bluffs are decorated with icicles
that are so beautiful in the sunshine (not so easy to photograph!)
You'll find waterways and horizons that you never suspected existed
until you come in the winter. Check out
seasonal
information for more information.
If you love outdoor
sports, nature or are looking for a relaxed, spoilt getaway, you've
probably found the right place!
We want you to enjoy your stay and will do our best to make your visit
a memorable one.
Julia and Clare, Innkeepers - and wearers of many other hats.
